# Enable

> Enable is a company factory. A founder, the Board, writes a company's charter and approves its gates. AI teammates (a CEO, a CTO, a personal assistant and specialists) plan tasks, open GitHub issues and pull requests, and wake each other when something changes.

Enable calls an AI worker in a company a "teammate". The Board approves the company strategy, the technical architecture, each hire, and each move to a new lifecycle stage (Courtship, Infancy, Go-Go, Adolescence, Prime).
